Tony Crisci, lobbyist for the Bar Association in Harrisburg, reported on the latest developments.

The Senate and House return to session on September 24.  Eight legislative days are scheduled before the November election.

The State budget passed on June 30 is $470 million greater than last year’s budget.

The legal services allocation is down by $275,000.   Spending for County courts increased.  There is a $285,000 cut for Supreme Court.   Spending for problem solving courts  will increase by $100,000.
