A blog of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section

The General Assembly is in recess for Tuesday’s election.  Pennsylvanians will be electing an Attorney General, Auditor General, State Treasurer, a United States Senator, members of the United States House of Representatives, half of the State Senate and the entire State House of Representatives.

Bar Association lobbyist Tony Crisci is scheduled to brief the Legislative Liaison Committee on Thursday when he will discuss the impact of Tuesday’s election.  I plan to report on that meeting.

Republicans have held the Attorney General’s Office since 1980 when the office became elective.
