The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has amended Appellate Rule 2112 to clarify that an appellee’s right to include in its brief counter-statements of sections included in the appellant’s brief is not limited to the appellant’s statement of the questions involved or statement of the case.  The amendment applies to new appeals filed on or after May 31, 2013.  The text of the Court’s order and of the amendment are available here:

Attached is a new Third Circuit order that changes the number of briefs that must be filed in that court.
