The House is in session on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  The Senate is in session on Monday and Tuesday.

House Judiciary Committee meets Tuesday on abolition of Philadelphia Traffic Court, retirement age for judges

The House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to conduct hearings on House Bill 1258 (Harper-R- Montgomery) providing for automatic retirement ages for judges, House Resolution 107 (Dean-D-Montgomery) urging the PA Supreme Court to require pro bono legal service, Senate Bill 333 (Pileggi-R- Delaware) eliminating the Traffic Court of Philadelphia, Senate Bill 334 (Pileggi-R- Delaware) eliminating the Traffic Court of Philadelphia.

Bills Moving

Identity Theft: House Bill 714 (Baker-R-Tioga) further providing for the offense of identity theft– summary was reported from the House Judiciary Committee and Tabled.

Online Impersonation: House Bill 764 (Watson-R-Bucks) defining the offense of online impersonation–summary was amended and reported from the House Judiciary Committee and Tabled.

Sexual Violence Victims: Senate Bill 681 (Greenleaf-R- Montgomery) providing for the protection of victims of sexual violence was reported from the Senate Appropriations Committee and is now on the Senate Calendar for action.  A summary and Senate Fiscal Note are available.
