The House will be in session on Monday to work on the fiscal code.  The House and Senate return to regular sessions on September 23.

House State Government Committee holds a hearing on House Bill 60 (Benninghoff-R-Mifflin) providing for exceptions for public records for jurors’ names- summary,  House Bill 115 (Swanger-R-Lebanon) further providing for Right-to-Know Law requests from inmates- summary,  House Bill 480 (Kauffman-R-Cumberland) providing for requests for records from the Department of Corrections- summary,  House Bill 788(Evankovich-R-Armstrong) providing for certain definitions, regulations and policies under the Right-to-Know Law– summary,  House Bill 1093 (Hanna-D-Centre) providing for exceptions from Right-to-Know Law requests-summary,  House Bill 1476 (Simmons-R-Lehigh) providing for written request fees for commercial use and judicial reviews under the Right-to-Know Law-summary and House Resolution 100 (Harper-R-Montgomery) directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to review the financial impact of the Right-to-Know Law on agencies and local governments- summary.  Room G-50 Irvis Building.  1:00.

July 17– House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on Pennsylvania procedures for firearm background checks.  Room 205 Ryan Building.  10:30.
