FRANKLIN, Pa. (AP) – A judge says a 14-year-old northwestern Pennsylvania boy must be tried as an adult on charges he fatally shot his grandparents because facing only seven years’ detention in juvenile court is “wholly inadequate to ensure the public’s safety.”
